FAQ
How long does it take to get our photos delivered?
Wedding Collections are delivered in 4-8 weeks, depending on the season. Family collections are delivered in 2-4 weeks depending on season.
What if we're getting married abroad?
Traveling for a wedding? I'm in! Wedding packages are the same and sometimes traveling fees can be waived. Let's discuss!
What should we wear for our session?
Something comfortable! I suggest picking around 3 colors and coordinate the outfits from there and either going with a warm palette or a cool palette. We can discuss more on this if you have questions and need help!
What if I don't like the windy look and the sand between my toes?
If wind blown hair and sandy feet are your enemy, I'd suggest an off beach session which takes place in one of our iconic towns or parks. There is also the option to do an off beach session followed by a sunset beach session to cover all the bases.
What if we get rained out?
On days when there is potential inclement weather, we usually wait it out and see if it clears up by sunset. If it does not and is a wash out, we try to reschedule for the next available session. If we aren't available to reschedule, the deposit can be kept on file for a future session or it can fully refunded.
How many weddings have you shot?
Honestly, I have no idea! My first years of the wedding business I was a 2nd shooter and that started around 2007. Probably something like 1 billion, lol.
How do I finalize my booking?
For Family Sessions a $200 deposit secures your session and goes towards the balance of your chosen package. For weddings, 1/3 of the total is due for the deposit and a signed contract secures your wedding date.
What are your credentials?
I received my B.F.A in photography from Mississippi State University with a study abroad at The Glasgow School of Art in Scotland. After moving to Grayton Beach in 2003, I worked for several different local photographers and then started 2nd shooting for family and wedding photographer Sheila Goode. After a season with Sheila she kicked me out the door and encouraged me to start my own business and here I am today thanks to her! My business continues to be a success thanks to all my returning clients and fellow wedding vendors who have become dear friends along the way.
